Warchant TV: Florida State summer enrollees see, feel confident teammates, supportive coaches

Florida State welcomed a crop of over a dozen spring transfers and high school enrollees over Memorial Day Weekend to bolster its roster.
On Tuesday, five of the newcomers including Jeremiah Wilson, the 29th highest ranked prospect in the 2024-25 transfer window, discussed their first month on campus and goals for the upcoming season.
Wilson called it a “dream come true” and shared his comfort with his new teammates and familiarity with the 3-3-5 run by new coordinator Tony White.
“You always have some time of pressure,” said Wilson, who had four interceptions last year at Houston. “There’s some more zone than man (coverage)…I’m a smaller guy but big heart.”
“I like using my feet and reading the quarterback.”
The remaining FSU newcomers will meet with media over the coming days.

Florida State will open the 2025 season in a newly renovated Doak Campbell Stadium when they host Alabama on August 30.
Alabama opened as a 9 point favorite and the line has moved to anywhere between 10.5 and 11 on several sportsbooks
FSU finished in last place in the ACC and below .500 for the fifth time in seven years and third time under Mike Norvell.
Alabama failed to win 10 games for the first time since 2007, its first season under former head coach Nick Saban. The Crimson Tide lead the all-time series 3-1 including the most recent clash, a 24-7 win in 2017
