Warchant TV: FSU Alabama postgame press conference
FSU pulled off the biggest upset of week one on Saturday afternoon in Doak Campbell Stadium as the two touchdown underdog Seminoles took down the 8th ranked Alabama Crimson Tide 31-17.
Afterwards, FSU head coach Mike Norvell discussed the physical effort from his team. “I thought you saw great heart”, said Norvell. “I’ve used the buzz words of edge and desperation. But that comes from the heart.”

Florida State will face East Texas A&M next Saturday at noon inside Doak Campbell Stadium. It will be first meeting between the two programs. The Lions opened their season vs. SMU
FSU has now won three of its last four season openers, all vs. teams from the SEC (2022 – LSU, 2023 – LSU, 2025 – Alabama).

FSU will begin its ACC slate on Friday, September 26th in Charlottesville against the Virginia Cavaliers. The teams last met in 2019 when the Hoos held off the ‘Noles 31-24 in Scott Stadium. Virginia opened with Coastal Carolina in Week One.
