Warchant TV: FSU coordinators wrap up loss to Stanford, mounting pressure around program
FSU (3-4, 0-4) held its first practice during the bye week on Tuesday morning.
Afterwards, FSU coordinators Gus Malzahn and Tony White discussed the 20-13 loss and their message to a team in the midst of a four-game losing streak.
Malzahn was asked if Tommy Castellanos’ numerous injuries have affected his play-calling philosophy.
“He’s a tough guy,” said Malzahn. “We call our offense. We got to heal him up.”

Saturday’s loss to Stanford marked the 9th consecutive ACC loss for Florida State.
FSU knocked off 6th ranked Alabama 31-17 in week one and will not play another non-conference game until its regular season finale at Gainesville vs. the Florida Gators.
FSU will be idle in week nine and continue its ACC slate on Saturday, Nov. 1 in Doak Campbell Stadium against Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons (4-2, 1-2) are coming off a 39-14 win at Oregon State and were on a bye in week eight.
The Seminoles lead the all-time series 31-9-1 including the last meeting between the two foes in which FSU prevailed 41-16 in Winston-Salem.
