Warchant TV: FSU defensive coordinator Tony White wraps up win over Wake Forest
FSU (4-4, 1-4) held its weekly walk-through on Sunday evening following its win over Wake Forest.
Afterwards, FSU defensive coordinator Tony White was asked what messaging the staff used to spur the noticeable change in performance.
“Just believe, man,” said White. “It’s just believe. Believe in yourself, believe in the guy next to you…believe in this culture.”
Offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn was scheduled to speak but had to tend to a family emergency.

FSU has opened as a 2.5 point underdog for Saturday’s contest at Clemson.

Saturday marked the first win for FSU since its 66-10 victory over Kent State on September 20.
FSU knocked off 6th ranked Alabama 31-17 in week one and will not play another non-conference game until its regular season finale at Gainesville vs. the Florida Gators.
Next up for FSU is a road test vs. the Clemson Tigers. The Tigers (3-5, 2-4) fell to Duke at home 46-45, their fourth loss in Death Valley this season.
The Seminoles lead the all-time series 21-16 including the last meeting in Memorial Stadium. Clemson prevailed last season in Tallahassee 29-13.
