Warchant TV: FSU head coach Mike Norvell weekly press conference: Alabama
FSU concluded preseason camp on Sunday and Mike Norvell met with media during the player’s day off on Monday.
Asked about what aspects of the FSU roster he is assured of heading into a blockbuster opener Norvell said, “(I am) really pleased with the competitiveness of this team in all the situations we’ve thrown at them.”
“Really like the fight I’ve seen in this team throughout our preseason workouts.”

Florida State will open the 2025 season in a newly renovated Doak Campbell Stadium when they host Alabama on Saturday.
Alabama opened as a 9 point favorite and the line has up to 14 on several sportsbooks
FSU finished in last place in the ACC and below .500 for the fifth time in seven years and third time under Mike Norvell.
Alabama failed to win 10 games for the first time since 2007, its first season under former head coach Nick Saban. The Crimson Tide lead the all-time series 3-1 including the most recent clash, a 24-7 win in 2017
Florida State’s winter window portal haul ranked 23rd in the nation with 16 additions and 22 losses. The spring transfer window has closed though the Seminoles remain active in pursuing prospects.
