Warchant TV: Insider's view of new FSU defensive coaches
With Florida State now having three new assistant coaches coming on board from Nebraska, we caught up again with HuskerOnline publisher Sean Callahan to get more insight into what they will be bringing to the Seminoles.
In this video interview with Warchant’s Tom Lang, Callahan discusses new Florida State defensive coordinator Tony White, new defensive line coach Terrance Knighton and new safeties coach Evan Cooper.
On Cooper, whose hiring was announced on Saturday, Callahan said the defensive assistant is known for his coaching ability and also his recruiting acumen. He said Cooper played a major role in helping Matt Rhule build Baylor into a winning program during their time there.

“He was one of the main masterminds in what they did in recruiting,” Callahan said. “And they produced a lot of NFL players, with his evaluations.”
Cooper also hails from Miami and helped Nebraska bring in five freshmen from Miami this past year.
Callahan also discussed what Florida State fans can expect to see from White’s 3-3-5 defense.
