AMELIA ISLAND — Mike Norvell and his ACC cohorts used the conference spring meetings here to discuss a wide range of issues facing college athletics, now and for the future.

From the dissolution of divisions in the ACC to the seemingly unenforced NIL landscape, Norvell said the week is an opportunity to build consensus to bring change that is best for the sport and student-athletes.

On the issue of conference revenue, the Florida State football coach said Tuesday that he and the Seminoles continue to have a strong relationship with the conference.

“I think if you look at the relationship FSU has with the ACC, it is a great relationship. There’s been a great history,” said Norvell. “I know there’s things that we’re all doing, just trying to continue to build the brand of Florida State Football … same with the ACC and all things moving forward.”

Norvell also touched on the signing ofreceiver Destyn Hill and the effects of the regulations to the game clock in relation to pace of play.
