Florida State (2-9, 1-7) concludes its 2024 season on Saturday when the Seminoles host their rival Florida (6-5).
On Monday, FSU head coach Mike Norvell discussed the stakes of Saturday’s tilt saying, “I’m excited to see our guys go and compete with everything that they have. They got off to a great start last night with our practice.”

Norvell did reveal that Luke Kromenhoek will start at quarterback. The true freshman was 13-of-20 for 209 yards and three touchdowns vs. Charleston Southern in his first collegiate start.
Saturday’s game will be televised on ESPN2 and is slated for a 7 p.m. kickoff.

Florida State’s next opponent, Florida, improved to 6-5 after a 24-17 win over #9 Ole Miss. The Gators notched consecutive wins over ranked teams while being unranked for the first time since 2003.
The Seminoles will host Florida on Nov. 30 — it will be the season finale for the Seminoles. Florida State will finish in last place in the ACC and below .500 for the fifth time in seven years and third time under Mike Norvell.

Florida State’s high school recruiting class for 2025 currently sits outside the On3 Top 20 team rankings. The 2025 early signing period for prep signees begins Wednesday December 4 and closes on December 6.
