Warchant TV: Mike Norvell postgame press conference - Florida 40, FSU 21
FSU (5-7, 2-6) capped off its road futility with a 40-21 loss in Gainesville to its arch rival Florida on Saturday.
“Disappointing night,” said FSU head coach Mike Norvell in his opening statement. “When (the expectations) of our play doesn’t show up, it’s infuriating.”

The Seminoles have not won a road contest since a 24-15 triumph over Florida on November 23, 2023. FSU lost all its road games in 2024 and 2025.
FSU knocked off 6th ranked Alabama 31-17 in week one en route to a 3-0 start before sputtering into a four-game losing streah.
Florida entered the game with an interim coach for the third time in the last eight meetings. The Gators also won in 2021, with an interim coach, 24-21.
FSU is 2-3 vs. the Gators under Mike Norvell. Florida leads the all-time series 39-28-2.
