Bowl eligibility eluded FSU (5-6, 2-6) in Raleigh on Friday night as a 4th quarter string of errors sunk the Seminoles, 21-11 at the hands of NC State.

Afterwards, FSU head coach Mike Norvell discussed the back to back fumbles from his punt unit and the magnitude of the loss.

FSU coordinators Gus Malzahn and Tony White will meet with the media on Sunday.

The Seminoles will look to win their first road game in nearly two calendar years during their regular season finale. They have not won a road contest since a 24-15 triumph over Florida on November 23, 2023.

FSU knocked off 6th ranked Alabama 31-17 in week one and will conclude its regular season with another clash vs. an SEC foe in the rival Florida Gators.

Florida enters the game with an interim coach for the third time in the last eight meetings. The Gators (3-7) square off against the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday in Gainesville.

FSU is 2-2 vs. the Gators under Mike Norvell. Florida leads the all-time series 38-28-2.
