Florida State redshirt freshman wide receiver Cam Frier is joining the list of players set to enter the transfer portal, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Frier, the son of former Florida State star Matt Frier, saw action in three games during his two seasons with the Seminoles. He totaled 32 snaps against East Texas A&M, Kent State and Wake Forest. He did not record any meaningful stats in that time.

Frier also missed a lot of time in practice due to injury in 2024.

The 6-foot, 180-pound receiver came to Florida State as a three-star recruit from Columbia High School in Lake City. He chose the Seminoles over Alabama fairly early in the process.

According to the Rivals Industry Ranking, Frier was the 83rd-ranked receiver in the country and the 65th prospect in Florida.

The NCAA transfer portal officially opens on Jan. 2 this cycle, and it will remain open for 15 days.
