Georgia lands commitment from 2027 RB Noah Parker

Georgia continues to build momentum in the 2027 class with a commitment from Montezuma (Ga.) Macon County 2027 running back Noah Parker on Saturday.
Parker is Georgia’s fifth commit in the 2027 class. He joins four-star Donte Wright, Kelsey Adams and three-stars Kyson Mallard and Gavin Honore.
The Bulldogs are set to battle Texas on Saturday night. Parker is in Athens and announced his pledge ahead of Saturday’s game.
Parker is a cousin of former Georgia Butkus Award winner Roquan Smith. His cousin has always given him good advice, but Parker was drawn to Georgia’s development as well as the relationships he’s developed with Georgia running back coach Josh Crawford.
“The communication with me has been great, just speaking with coach (Josh) Crawford weekly,” Parker told DawgsHQ back on Oct. 29. “It’s been great, the relationship that we’ve built since the summer is like, just great, man, and recruitment just been great with them.”

Crawford spent the beginning of his coaching career at a few schools in South Georgia. He coached at Lee County and Colquitt County.
That made Parker comfortable with Crawford.
“Just knowing that he’s from down south, I know he knows what it takes to play down here,” Parker said last month. “It is harder to play down here than it is up north. You have to really grind for what you want down here. He knows that from a cultural standpoint.”
Kirby Smart also made Parker comfortable as well.
“He’s a great coach, I’ve talked to him several times, and you know what I’m saying, just been great energy with him as well,” Parker said.
The Bulldogs landed four-star Jae Lamar in the 2026 class. Lamar shut down his recruitment on Friday after hearing out multiple suitors.
