James Cook compares Bills Mafia to Georgia football fans: 'It gets loud'

James Cook has a new home fan base to impress.

And a new home fan base filling his ear holes on game day.

The Buffalo Bills selected Cook with the 63rd overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft’s second round.

He recently explained to the Bills’ media team what he expects from Bills Mafia.

They get pretty wild up there, jumping through tables, christening their babies through tables, and occasionally jumping through a burning table.

Still, James Cook believes he’s seen and heard everything a home crowd can bring to the table

In the SEC, it just means more. And playing Between the Hedges proved that to Cook.

“I’m used to the environment,” Cook said.

“Playing Between the Hedges at Georgia, it gets loud. So you know I’m kind of prepared and ready for it.”

Cook played through a successful home stretch at Georgia.

The Dawgs went undefeated on Dooley Field at Sanford Stadium – and overall – in the 2021 regular season.

Georgia hasn’t lost a home game since October 12, 2019: South Carolina in 2OT.

I have to imagine at least a few Georgia fans fell through their tailgate tables that day.

James Cook rewards himself for senior season at Georgia

Not many running backs come back for a senior season in college football.

James Cook did, and it paid off.

It paid off with a National Championship, and a second-round NFL Draft pick.

Cook also paid… a lot of money… for the Cartier watch in the Bills’ interview.

He’s a very reserved guy.

But that watch is loud.

After all that work and all of the results, Cook decided to reward himself with the timepiece, which I couldn’t find on Cartier’s website.

You’re welcome to peruse to get a ballpark of how much it cost.

It will pair nicely with the other piece of jewelry Cook and his teammates earned this season.

Just keep ’em away from any Buffalo tailgates.
