Kansas State has scored another commit in the 2024 recruiting class with the addition of Pennsylvania offensive lineman Ryan Howard. He is the younger brother of current K-State quarterback Will Howard and committed to the Wildcats over Bowling Green, Maryland, Temple, Syracuse and West Virginia.

Of course with his brother on the team, Howard has visited K-State a handful of times and has received an inside look at the program. He visited for a game in the 2021 season and followed that with another in the Spring of 2022 as well.

Kansas State offered the three-star lineman after a camp in Manhattan in June. Howard visited when the Wildcats hosted Kansas and defeated Lance Leipold and company last season.

K-State does not dip into Pennsylvania too often, but they have struck three times in the Chris Klieman era. It has actually been behind the direction of Kansas State assistant coach Conor Riley each time, too. He initiated the contact with Will Howard and has since grabbed two offensive linemen as well.

Howard joins his older brother and fellow offensive lineman Jalen Klemm from the 2022 class as Pennsylvania natives to make the call for K-State.

The 6-foot-7, 320-pound massive human being is commitment No. 3 for Kansas State in the 2024 cycle. He joins Mill Valley offensive lineman Gus Hawkins and Colorado quarterback Blake Barnett for the Wildcats.

According to the On3 rankings, Howard is the No. 25 player in Pennsylvania for the 2024 cycle. On3 also lists him as the No. 54 interior offensive lineman in the country.
