The 1996 UK team will be
having a reunion at Rupp Arena on Feb 27, the night of the Mississippi State game. The team, which first got together this summer, will be introduced to the fans at the game and will get their chance to get a Rupp ovation together as a group for the first time in a long time. John Calipari helped put the event together and it will be great to see one of the all time best groups back again.
And one member of that team,
Derek Anderson, made the trip to Lexington today to meet with Nerlens Noel and help talk with him about his injury. You may remember that Anderson had the same injury years ago and I am sure Nerlens was glad to speak with him. The picture below is a great one of UK eras past and present:
