If there were any questions regarding Kentucky’s pursuit of 2023 five-star center Baye Fall, they’ve now been answered.

Previously considering the Wildcats — he told KSR that Kentucky was among the schools recruiting him the hardest this spring — the 6-foot-10 senior has cut his list to seven. The finalists? ArkansasAuburnColoradoKansas StateRutgersSeton Hall, and Texas.

He took an official visit to Auburn in June and has taken unofficial visits to Arkansas, Colorado and Seton Hall. He’s also scheduled three official visits, starting with Rutgers on September 1, followed by Texas on Sept. 10 and Seton Hall on Sept. 28.

The Denver (Colo.) Accelerated Schools standout previously considered offers from Oregon, Baylor, Kansas, Arizona, Illinois, USC and Memphis, among others.

Fall is the No. 10 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, the average ranking from all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 1 center and the No. 1 player in the state of Colorado.

Fall was seen as one of Kentucky’s early targets at the center position, with Orlando Antigua and Chin Coleman leading the charge in his recruitment. Since the spring, though, the Wildcats ramped up their efforts with Ugonna Kingsley Onyenso, who reclassified to 2022 and is now enrolled at UK. He is expected to return to Lexington in 2023-24 as a key contributor down low.

Beyond Onyenso, Kentucky is also recruiting Aaron Bradshaw in 2023, rounding out the program’s center targets.
