Add another official visitor to the list for what will be a busy June in the world of Kentucky football.

Class of 2025 EDGE prospect Nicholas Smith has scheduled an official visit with the Wildcats for the weekend of June 21-23, he told KSR on Thursday. Suiting up for Loganville (GA) Walnut Grove, Smith checks in at 6-foot-7, 255 pounds. He received an in-person offer from UK defensive coordinator Brad White on Wednesday.

This is currently his only scheduled official visit for the summer.

Prior to earning his Kentucky scholarship, Smith had been offered by the likes of Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, West Virginia, Central Florida, Cincinnati, Western Kentucky, and Georgia Southern, among a few others. Charlotte offered one day after the Wildcats did.

While currently unranked by the On3, Smith is considered a three-star recruit by the folks over at 247Sports, which slots him as the 84th-best prospect out of Georgia in this cycle. According to MaxPreps, he registered 58 tackles (eight for loss), eight quarterback hurries, four sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one blocked field goal in 2023. Smith even caught a 30-yard pass for a touchdown on offense.

The weekend of June 21-23 will be an important one for the Kentucky staff. Joining Smith in Lexington will be four-star EDGE Cedric Works, four-star CB Dalen Penson, four-star S Keon Young, four-star LB Christian Gass, three-star IOL Andrew Stargel, unranked S Dyllon Williams, and unranked OT Jason Ekperuoh.
