UNEMPLOYED -- The Clippers' Randy Foye suffered a hamstring injury and will be out for a few weeks.  Why do you care?  Because this is a big opportunity for Eric Bledsoe.  Bledsoe played well in 16 minutes of relief for Foye yesterday against the Mavericks.  It started off ugly (a turnover and an airball) but Bledsoe finished with 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 assists in the loss.  The Clip Show play the Spurs tonight and I expect Bledsoe to score at least 30.  Leggo. -- The Cats suffered yet another disappointing loss Saturday and ruined any chance of a magical season but they're stilling getting some love on the national scene.  And by love, I mean Kentucky is the number one team not in the top 30.  College Football News has Kentucky ranked #31 just behind Georgia and Florida and 30 spots ahead of those Vols at #61.  At least we've got that going for us. -- And now for your "Boone's Butcher Shop Interesting Stat of the Week"... Kentucky has led for just 13 minutes in SEC play.  That's less than one quarter of college football and one minute shorter than Jimi Hendrix's Voodoo Chile. -- Why is Donald Russell's mother still talking? I understand she is just trying to stand up for her son but this is ridiculous.  Let the kid handle his business.  It reminds me of the time my mom stormed into the movie theater with a flashlight during Jurassic Park 3 and broke up a date I was on.  Sure, she was just looking out for me because the girl was a real butter-face, but a guy's got to fight his own battles and handle adversity without mommy going all crazy in public.  So zip it, Mrs. Russell. -- Danny Trevathan is a one-man wrecking crew. Trevathan had 16 tackles against the Bulldogs bringing his total to 97 tackles on the season. The rest of the defense has seven. (I'll have to double check that stat but it sounds right.) Trevathan is the one bright spot on the defensive side of the ball and I wouldn't be surprised if he made his way on to an All-American team at the end of the season. -- The basketball Cats welcome the Flyin' Dwight Yoakams of Pikeville tonight at 7:00.  Matt will be gettin' his live blog on at 6:30.  Free Enes.
