So THAT'S what a game with hardly any turnover problems looks like! (Actually, Kentucky had 15 Turnovers, and the would have had less than 10 if they didn't get sloppy in the last 5 minutes of the game.)
Jodie Meeks had a crazy awesome game. Look at this line: 14-21 FG, 9-14 3pt (he was 8-10 before the last 3 minutes of the game), 9-10 FT, 3 Assists and 2 Turnovers. Jodie tied Tony Delk with 9 made 3-pointers today. 46 points total, the 6th best single-game scoring performance. Just incredible. (I would like to see a 30-point game against a good defense, Jodie. Please.)
Also, while we all love watching the bombs drop from outside (12-23 3pt today), let's hope they don't think they can just shoot over top every defense they face. Remember, before this game, we were only 30.7% on 3pt attempts for the year. I know Jodie and the boys were just throwing up 3's at the end of the game, but there should be significantly less 3pt attempts when we play Louisville.
Kentucky wins, 93-69, in a game that wasn't even that close. There will be a more through look at the game by Matt or Beisner or somebody. Until then, bask in the glow of knowing your Wildcats played one of the most complete games this season.
