A Quick, Fake Summary -- He Let My Friends Go Free and Throwed the Book At Me

Today was the day we feared would never come -- the day that Jodie Meeks Got Contained. I'm not for sure if it was the assortment of defenders who made Jodie work too hard or that Jodie's shooting touch was as cold as the frozen streets of Lexington. It was probably a little of both. Jodie's final line: 3-14 FG, 3-10 3FG (including an airball at 1:30 left in the 2nd), 10-10 FT for 21 points total. Jodie wouldn't have broken 20 if it wasn't for those 2 garbage-time 3's at the end.

Patrick had a good game (22 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocks). But his partner in the paint, Perry Stevenson, probably played his worst half of the year in the second half. Perry's line was okay (7 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists) but he made some boneheaded fouls, shot selections and while he wasn't charged with any turnovers, he missed or dropped several passes that might have been attributed to his teammate's turnovers.

I'll have more a little bit later tonight -- Captain Jones is sans power due to the inclement weather. Karma is a bitch, I suppose. In the mean time, please discuss how absolutely TERRIBLE our defense was tonight.
