One tidbit that I forgot to put into our late night roundup yesterday concerned the team's energy during the game. I asked a couple of the players about the fact that Vandy seemed a bit more gassed in the last period than the Cats. Ramel Bradley said that, "we think we can outwork any team in the country thanks to all the work we put in." He then credited all the conditioning the team has gone through for that mindset. Then Ramon Harris made an interesting point, saying that the team's workouts on the day of the game are "not quite as hard" as before. We had been hearing for sometime that the day-of workouts had become a bit less grueling than before (but the players I had spoken with always thought this issue was a bit overblown), but this was the first time a player had made the same point.
