Former Kentucky basketball player Andre Riddick has accepted a job as an assistant coach at the University of Cincinnati Clermont College. Riddick, who played professionally overseas until 2014, volunteered as a middle school coach after retirement, prior to landing at UC Clermont. At Kentucky, Riddick held the single season shot block record from 1994 until 2012, when Anthony Davis shattered his record 83 blocks with 186. Riddick's mark has since been surpassed by Karl-Anthony Towns, Nerlens Noel and Willie Cauley-Stein as well. He also held the record for blocks in a single game with eight, until Nerlens Noel swatted 12 against Ole Miss in 2013. Riddick currently ranks fifth on UK's all-time shot blocking list. And how can we forget the time he went at Rasheed Wallace's throat in the 1995 NCAA Tournament's South Regional final? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQECNSfpjy0
