Anthony Davis has risen to all-star status in the NBA already in just a span of 3 years of being in the league. His connection with Pelican's head coach Monty Williams is a main reason why he has been able to achieve the success he has. The video above shows the coach and player's cohesive connection on and off the court, and their ability to push one another in their different roles to get better. Clearly it has worked.
The eighth-seeded Pelicans play the Warriors away today on ABC at 3:30 ET, don't miss out on watching Davis in his first-ever playoff appearance. However, I don't know how much of a chance the Pelicans stand against Steph Curry's Warriors in an arena that will be bouncing off the walls. Oakland loves their basketball.
