According to Evan Daniels of 247 Sports, Anthony Edwards, a five-star shooting guard out of Georgia, has announced his final list of schools in contention: Kentucky, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida State.

In Daniels' report, Edwards said he has cancelled his official visit to Kansas and has dropped them from his list. Instead, the 6-foot-5 guard will take an official to North Carolina from Monday to Wednesday and then Florida State next Saturday. After that, Edwards says he expects to make a final decision in the next month. 247 Sports interviewed Edwards about his visit to Kentucky last week, who said he had a "great" time and appreciated the fans at Rupp Arena chanting his name. “It was great,” Edwards said. “It was a great atmosphere, the game and the fans at the game kept saying ‘We want Ant.’ Coach Cal is a great dude. Kenny Payne is a great dude and I’m really close with Ashton [Hagans] and Tyler Herro.” The pitch? Accomplish your dream of reaching the NBA like some of the best Kentucky guards have during the John Calipari era. “They said ‘come here’ and said ‘you know we’ve had players similar to you that played here like Jamal Murray, Malik Monk, De’Aaron Fox and players like that.’ He said ‘come here so we can help you accomplish your dream,’” said Edwards. The elite Kentucky target said his favorite part of the visit was during the player introductions. “Probably the introduction of the game, when they called their names out and stuff,” Edwards said. “They turned all the lights out and then it got real blue and got real loud.” You can read everything he said in the interview with Evan Daniels here. https://youtu.be/Vh1LLssCz0E Come on down, Mr. Edwards.
