Bam Adebayo commits to KENTUCKY

Drew Franklinby: Drew Franklin11/17/15DrewFranklinKSR
bam In a live appearance on ESPN's Mike & Mike this morning, Edrice "Bam" Adebayo announced his commitment to play basketball at the University of Kentucky. He is the fourth commitment in UK's class, joining Sacha Killeya-Jones, Wenyen Gabriel and De'Aaron Fox to form the second best crop of talent in the nation, behind Duke. Adebayo picked the Wildcats over nearby N.C. State and the opportunity to play with his AAU teammate and good friend, five-star point guard Dennis Smith. It is a huge steal to pull him away from the Wolfpack and out of the state of North Carolina. Ranked No. 10 overall in the Class of 2016 by the 247 Composite Rankings, Adebayo was high on Kentucky since his official visit in early October. He called the trip to Lexington "sensational" at the time. We're told he called John Calipari last night and gave him the good news. When asked if he plans to be a one-and-done at Kentucky, Adebayo told Mike & Mike, "I'm focused on college basketball right now. I'm just worried about winning a national title." "Whatever I need to do for Kentucky, I will do it." You're going to love this one, Big Blue Nation.
