Texas has never been a Kentucky football recruiting pipeline state but that could be changing in the 2026 high school cycle. Is this SEC program going to add a third commitment from the Lonestar State to the recruiting class in June?

Austin (Texas) Lake Travis defensive lineman Ben Duncum is ready to end his recruitment. The prospect could join two other Texas natives in Kentucky’s 2026 class when he announces his commitment on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. ET/1:00 p.m. CT.

San Antonio (Texas) Cornerstone Christian wide receiver Davis McCray committed to Kentucky on June 3. Katy (Texas) High cornerback Isaiah McMillian join UK’s class on June 22. Ben Duncum could become the third Texas recruiting for the program.

Kansas State, Oklahoma State, and Wisconsin are the other finalists. Ben Duncum took an official visit trip to each school. However, UK got the final official visit trip over the weekend.

Kentucky defensive line coach Anwar Stewart offered the prospect a scholarship on March 31 and got an official visit locked in shortly after. Now the Cats have a chance to land another Texas high school football product to the program.
