Brandin Echols Stars on Day 2 of New York Jets Training Camp
It took no time for Brandin Echols to introduce himself to New York Jets quarterbacks. On the second day of training camp, he made the biggest play for the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS’ defense.
While covering former Tennessee Titan first round pick Corey Davis, the talented cornerback recorded the first takeaway of Jets’ training camp. Preying on quarterback James Morgan, the former Wildcat jumped the route, then showed off his speed by taking it to the house for a Pick Six.

A sixth round pick by the Jets in the 2021 NFL Draft, there’s an opportunity for Echols to play right away in Robert Saleh’s new-look defense. In need of a slot corner, two days into camp Echols was already earning first team reps. He’s off to an excellent start with his new team.
A former junior college wide receiver, Echols arrived in Lexington in 2019 with limited defensive experience. He played right away and quickly earned a starting role, holding down the boundary side of the field for 22 straight games. Echols finished his two-year career with 108 tackles, 4.5 TFL, 11 PBU, two forced fumbles, an interception in his final game and an Academy Award.
Brandin Echols is too funny 🤣
