Brandon Knight suffers major injury
This is the type of news you hate to share. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Brandon Knight has torn the ACL in his left knee. The former Cat and current Phoenix Suns guard could miss the entire 2017-18 NBA season.
This is the latest unlucky break for Knight, who has struggled to find his place on the Phoenix roster in recent years. Last season, he averaged 11.0 points, 2.4 assists, and 2.2 rebounds per game and functioned mostly as the Suns’ sixth man, but was shut down along with Eric Bledsoe when the team decided to tank after the All-Star game.
Minor setback for a major comeback, right?
