Disclaimer: As I am sure you all figured out yesterday, I do this post a day in advance. Why you might ask? Because I have a job that I get out of at 1AM, making it a little more difficult to get up and do the post in the morning. Understand that I am doing my best to get you the most up-to-date links I can, but sometimes, as yesterday proved, it comes back to bite me in the ass.
1. As many of you pointed out in the game thread Tuesday night, UK really screwed up by losing to Ole Miss, because it was their first game as a ranked team and
happened on ESPN. Eric Crawford dives deeper into this topic, as it's clear UK nor Jodie Meeks followed the ESPN script.
2. So, it looks like PETA really, really wanted a
Super Bowl ad, proclaiming how great it is to be a vegetarian. Unfortunatly, they took the "sex sells" motto a bit too far, basically having women in lingerie doing "things" with veggies. For the readers on this website, I would assume this is OK. For NBC, not so much.
