BTI's Rants and Ramblings: Poor Nick Calathes.....
As we head into another huge clash with Florida this weekend at Rupp, and coming off the stunning miss of 3 free throws by Riley Lachance last weekend, it seemed like a good time to remember one of the epic choke jobs by a UK opponent. Remember, this was the 2nd Billy Gillispie team. Plus, Patrick Patterson got hurt in this game. Despite all that, UK still held a 3-point lead late before an incredibly dumb foul of Calathes, a guy who had scored 33 points up to that moment in the game. And then this happened:
