...not Rick Pitino. Cal's apparently saving the Pitino podcast for another day, but this morning, released
a new episode featuring Dan Patrick. Over the years, Calipari and Patrick have developed a playful rapport in interviews, and today, Cal turns the table on the sports broadcasting legend, who decided to leave ESPN in 2007 after 18 years at the moment he was supposed to sign a new multi-year contract. I'm still listening to it, but so far, the most entertaining part is still Calipari's ad reads.
"I'm a little concerned about my friend Papa," Cal said, describing Papa John's latest promotion. "I've gotta get Papa on the line this next episode because this is crazy. And these stuffed cheese sticks are crazy."
