In what will likely be a game that will be remembered not at all, the Wildcats defeated the dreaded dragon known as
Miami OH tonight, 57-46. We will have more coverage later, but for now it suffices to say that if you missed the game, dont go rushing to find a DVD copy. The Cats looked perpetually sluggish on offense, but showed their trademark defensive pluck, shutting down Miami on their end....thanks in large part to the play of
Perry Stevenson. The young man from Louisiana continues to show why some were such big believers, with 7 blocks and assortment of altered shots.
While the game was ugly, it still is a win, and for that we shall be thankful. We will have much more as the night progresses. Feel free to post your comments below. However dont use the thread to simply write "this team is terrible" or "we cant win anything", blah blah blah. Its the first game and if all you want to do is incessantly bitch, there are forums on the net that would love to have you. For other thoughts on the game and constructive criticism and praise, feel free to let it roll.
