Well we knew one fan base would melt down....and thankfully its not ours. In a game that was not the prettiest thing in the world (or the second prettiest....etc), the
Cats beatdown the Cards 61-49. Today was the day that we saw the reason that I have fallen in love with
Jodie Meeks. The freshman looked like a scorer who can take over games, scoring 18 points and carrying the UK offense during the usual lulls. However while Meeks had the best performance and is my second favorite player, the second best performance was from one of my all time favorite players, THE WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!. What a game.....hitting jump shots, getting rebounds and helping the Cats to victory. I absolutely love this guy and I could not be happier for him.
Yes it is true that UK didnt have great offensive flow.....and it is also true that Louisville missed open shots. But lets not forget that we won when our best player missed huge parts of the game and had 2 points. And lets not forget that Kentucky missed open shots. And finally lets especially not forget that we beat our most hated rival.....and its three in a row over Ricky P.....SWEET!!!
