Cats biggest underdog in the BCS this weekend
Yesterday, Joker Phillips said his team is embracing the underdog role heading into the Louisville game. That’s a good thing, because the Cats are the biggest underdog of any BCS conference team this weekend.
Kentucky is currently a fourteen point underdog, but the Cats are turning those bad odds into billboard material. Quarterback Maxwell Smith said it’s an opportunity for the Cats to make a statement:
“Everybody likes being the underdog. You go out and try to prove yourself.”
Team Captain Matt Smith echoed his sentiments:
“The pressure is off of us. We have nothing to lose. We go out there and play the game we know how to play. We’re hoping to shock a lot of people this year.”
