Cats Jump In Recruiting Rankings Following Ware's Commitment

Composite team rankings from 247Sports soon after Ware's commitment

With this afternoon's commitment from Denzel Ware, Stoops Troops and company have been making moves in various recruiting rankings. On 247Sports, the Cayuts jumped seven spots (from #21 to #14), while Rivals updated them to #12 nationally (placing them ahead of SEC hot shot schools such as LSU and Florida, as well as Ohio State, Penn State, and Oklahoma).

Ware, a four-star defensive end from Florida, is rated as the #45 player overall in his class by 247Sports and the #80 player overall by ESPN. At 6-3 and 220 pounds, Ware has given UK fans following his recruitment a bit of a roller coaster ride- originally committing to Florida State, then UK, then decommitting from UK, and now finally settling on the Cats once and for all. This weekend's visit to Lexington (his first) apparently sealed the deal. Stoops puts on a helluva camp, apparently.
