Cats offer Simon-Kenton running back
The search for help at the running back position next year continues but, in the meantime, the Cats extended a scholarship offer to Simon-Kenton running back Miles Simpson this week. Simpson wrapped up his junior season as the Kentucky Enquirer's Player of the Year and was named First Team All-State by the AP and the Courier-Journal. The 6'3", 200 pound back already holds an offer from the Filthy Cards and, according to Rivals, is also being recruited by Cincinnati, Duke, Indiana and Nebraska. Simpson rushed for 2,309 yards with an 8.1 ypc average and 41 total TDs in leading the Pioneers to the state championship game this past season.
