The New Cats Check Out The Volleyball Game
With the school year underway all the students far and wide are looking for a chance to snap a pic with the new arrivals on campus. Yesterday was the first weekend of the semester and Nerlens Noel had quite a busy day.
Nerlens Noel: Man of the People
Matt posted that picture of Noel and Malone at the water balloon fight. Before that though Noel dropped by the volleyball game where the Cats took down UNC in the Kentucky classic. Before the game he stopped to pose with a group of kids. Could you imagine Noel guarding the net of a volleyball game? Simply put it would be game over.
Not to be outdone Alex Poythress also checked out the action. If twitpics are any indication he didn't get to see much of the game as he was constantly being bombarded for pictures. Doesn't anybody read the great work of Kristen Giel?
One thing that has been especially cool of the Cal era has been the team showing their support for the women's sports. The players are always tweeting about going by the volleyball, women's basketball, or any of the various other sports. Big Blue Nation isn't limited to just basketball. #WeAreUK
