According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, a Reds player has tested positive for COVID-19, with ESPN's Buster Olney breaking the news that today's game has been postponed. "A Reds player has tested positive for COVID-19," said Rosenthal. "Team defeated Pirates on Friday night, scheduled to host them again at 6:10 p.m. ET on Saturday." https://twitter.com/Buster_ESPN/status/1294639771785076741?s=20 Earlier this week, the Pirates had an entire three-game series against the St. Louis postponed due to a previous outbreak within the Cardinals organization. The Reds had two players test positive during summer camp, though no one on the team has had a confirmed positive test during the season. Cincinnati infielder Matt Davidson previously tested positive after the team's season opener, though ensuing tests came back negative. Other players within the organization, including Joey Votto and Nick Senzel, previously reported symptoms but tested negative. The Cardinals, which saw numerous players and members within the clubhouse test positive, have played just five games on the year. The MLB announced 53 games in 45 days for St. Louis, including ten scheduled doubleheaders in 1.5 months.

St. Louis, along with the Miami Marlins and Philadelphia Phillies, have already faced individual outbreaks.

------------UPDATE--------------

Sunday's game between the Reds and Pirates has also been postponed, according to Jon Heyman of the MLB Network.
