Clemson destroys Kentucky on the glass to take 37-30 halftime lead

Kentucky knew it’d be a physical game going into it, but the Wildcats aren’t necessarily playing like they knew it’d be a physical game, if that makes any sense. They’re getting absolutely dominated on the glass, trailing Clemson 31-21 overall with the Tigers pulling down 13 offensive rebounds leading to 10 second-chance points. That, plus shooting an abysmal 31.3 percent from the field, 28.6 percent from three and 54.5 percent at the line is how you go into the half down 37-30 in the team’s first true road game of the season.
Otega Oweh leads the team with eight points, followed by Lamont Butler with seven, Jaxson Robinson with six, Andrew Carr and Koby Brea with three, Ansley Almonor with two and Amari Williams with one.

Ian Schieffelin leads Clemson with nine points while Viktor Lakhin and Jaeden Zackery have six points apiece while the Tigers are shooting 34.2 percent from the field and 31.3 percent from three. They’ve also blocked six shots while also forcing six turnovers compared to just three assists for the Wildcats.
One stat to hate in particular: 3-14 for Kentucky on layups en route to .811 points per possession with a turnover rate of 16.2 percent.
Rough, rough, rough.

20 minutes to figure out whatever the hell that was. C’mon, Cats.
