Commit Roundup: Ponatoski's comeback, Alston's big rushing game, and Duncum's pressure

Kentucky football came up short against Ole Miss over the weekend, but most of the incoming recruiting class came ready to play.
Just like the week prior, 14 of Kentucky’s 15 class of 2026 high school commits were in action this past week. Three-star OT Tyreek Jemison (Paulding County) was the lone commit who did not suit up this week due to a bye. Otherwise, it was a productive stretch for the group of future Wildcats.
Most notably, four-star QB Matt Ponatoski had himself a game in the KSR Game of the Week victory over top-ranked Trinity, tossing three second-half touchdowns in a thrilling comeback. But we can’t not mention three-star RB Delvechhio Alston, who totaled over 200 combined yards and a pair of touchdowns en route to victory. On the defensive side of the ball, three-star DL Ben Duncum was causing havoc all game long in a close win.
They were hardly the only soon-to-be ‘Cats who put up big numbers, though. Dive in below to see how the rest of Kentucky’s commits performed last week.
