LCA's Cutter Boley debuts as 4-star QB in Rivals' 2025 rankings

The state of Kentucky has a budding superstar playing in Lexington.
On Wednesday, the folks over at Rivals unveiled the initial order for its class of 2025 player rankings. 100 high school sophomores were considered for the first rankings drop, and one of them is right in Mark Stoops’ backyard. Lexington Christian Academy QB Cutter Boley came in ranked No. 91 overall with four-star status. Boley is the only in-state prospect ranked among the top 100.
Boley’s ranking doesn’t come as much of a surprise. Over the last several months, the 6-foot-6 quarterback has been the hottest recruit in the state of Kentucky. Boley holds scholarship offers from the likes of UK, Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi State, Michigan, and several others.
Earlier in the summer, On3 tabbed Boley to the “2025 Football Prospect Watch List” where he was one of eight QBs across the country to make the list. On3 has him ranked as a four-star prospect. 247Sports would agree, as well, with the outlet ranking him No. 45 overall and a four-star in its debut ’25 rankings a few weeks ago.

Boley is hearing plenty from the Kentucky coaching staff, particularly offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello. Boley has made multiple visits to UK’s campus this year, most recently stopping by Kroger Field for an unofficial visit during the season-opening win over Miami (OH). So far, he’s looked the part of a future Power 5 quarterback in his first season with LCA.
Despite suffering a minor injury in last Friday’s loss to Christian Academy of Louisville, Boley has posted impressive numbers. He’s thrown for over 1,200 yards through four games, including 10 touchdowns and four interceptions. Boley’s status for this Friday’s rivalry matchup against Lexington Catholic is uncertain.
