Kentucky recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow got on the board in the 2025 high school recruiting cycle when Cincinnati (Ohio) Withrow wideout Quintin Simmons committed to the Wildcats last week. The ace recruiter in Lexington has the Wildcats in contention for another four-star prospect in the Buckeye State.

Canton (Ohio) McKinley junior Dante McClellan released his top eight schools on Tuesday. Kentucky made the list along with Louisville, Michigan State, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

On3’s Chad Simmons caught up with McClellan to get an update on his recruitment. Marrow has done a good job building a relationship with the 2025 prospect. Now the Wildcats must get him on campus for an official visit.

Vince Marrow, I love that guy. He’s a great recruiter and he’s a great recruiter. I also talk to the (inside) linebackers coach, (Mike) Stoops. There’s a family bloodline there and my high school football head coach played there,” McClelland told On3. “I have a good relationship with them.”

The No. 272 overall prospect in On3’s 2025 Industry Ranking is planning on taking official visits to Louisville, Michigan State, and Tennessee. Kentucky is attempting to get an official visit scheduled with the four-star-prospect.

The Wildcats currently have two players committed in the 2025 class.
