Darius Garland, listed at 6'1" and 170 pounds, is widely regarded as one of the top two to three point guards in his class, alongside Immanuel Quickley and Tre Jones who is the brother of former Duke guard Tyus Jones. https://twitter.com/dariusgarland22/status/886630103115075584 Garland put up some strong performances at the Peach Jam, so a UK offer isn't a huge shocker. However, it is a little bit surprising to see Coach Cal go after another point guard with how much chatter there is in Kentucky's favor for fellow top guard prospect Immanuel Quickley. Will definitely be interesting to see if Cal continues to pursue Garland if Quickley pulls the trigger with a Kentucky commit before the start of his senior season. We all know that Calipari does like to play a lineup with two strong ball-handling guards, so playing Garland alongside Quickley could be a possible idea.
