May arrived on the calendar with the Kentucky football program only having one commit in the 2026 high school class. As the transfer portal winds down, high school recruiting comes into focus. The Cats have a lot of ground to cover. A top offensive line target will be on campus this summer.

Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney offensive lineman Da’Ron Parks has official visits locked in with Auburn (May 30-June 1), Penn State (June 6-8), Ohio State (June 13-15), and Kentucky (June 20-22). Offensive line coach Eric Wolford is looking to record a big recruiting win in the Sunshine State.

Da’Ron Parks is the No. 354 overall prospect in the 2026 On3 Industry Ranking and the No. 55 player in Florida. Auburn is making a big push for the 6-foot-4 and 360-pound offensive lineman. Ohio State is also considered a major factor in this recruitment. Kentucky will be looking for this recruitment to extend into the summer.

Offensive line is again an area of need for the program in the 2026 recruiting cycle. Kentucky loaded up in the transfer portal at the position in the offseason but must start hitting on high school prospects. That means recording solid recruiting wins and then developing players within the program. Landing Jarvis Strickland to play tackle was a nice start. Adding Parks would give the program a very good recruiting win.

The four-star prospect is one of numerous high school offensive line targets expected on campus this summer. Recruiting is about to heat up.
