Saturday Night is the big Derby Classic in Louisville and I will be there covering the event for Kentucky Sports Report and you good folks at KSR Radio.  The big story going into the night of course will be the play of the future Kentucky stars, Derrick Jasper, Jodie Meeks and everyone's favorite skinny power forward, Perry Stevenson.  IT is my hope to get audio interviews with all three and get the questions you want answered.

A secondary story is that Adidas refused to invite Kentucky signee Michael Porter, becoming the first player for either UK or UL not to be invited in nearly 30 years.  When you consider the long line of busts that both teams have had over the years, that statistic is unfathomable.  Adidas claims that it made a judgment call, but the real story is that they are upset at Porter's decision to skip an Adidas tournament last summer.  But not that they are petty or anything.
