Did you like Dr. Pepper's Fansville CFB Playoff Commercial?

Super Bowl Sunday is the biggest day of the year for commercials. Dr. Pepper is trying to corner that market in the CFB Playoff National Championship.
Two years after ditching Larry Culpepper, the soda company concocted the episodic “Fansville” series. Featuring Eddie George and Brian Bosworth, the ads had their moments of levity, some more fleeting than others. A few folks may despise the ads, but that happens when they run during every ESPN college football broadcast.

For those who were still tuned into the second half of Monday night’s CFB Championship Game between LSU and Clemson, they were treated to the second season finale of Fansville. After teasing the conclusion for more than a month, did they stick the landing?

If I were in Dr. Pepper’s focus group, this ad would have passed with flying colors. To use ‘The Boz’ as the Mr. Hyde to Brian Bosworth’s Dr. Jekyll was clever. The salute to the championship weekend chest-passes in the Dr. Pepper Challenge was absolutely brilliant.
Surely I am not the only one who is a sucker for a good Dad-joke. What did you think?
