Don't go Joe! PLEASE DO!!

Ok, I know this is a Kentucky sports blog, but I just have to get some things off my chest. Ever since I was a small child I was groomed not only to become a maniac Cat fan, but a New York Yankee baseball junkie as well. Some of the most exciting years were in the late 90's as the Cats were cutting down national championship nets and the Bronx Bombers were hoisting world title trophies. Enough is enough. How many seasons can I continue to sit back and watch the highest paid team in America consistently under perform? First, I think everyone knows Mr. Torre is history after the most recent debacle against Pedro Cerano and the streaking Indians, but I blame much on Curious George as well. I have been saying it for three seasons, it doesn't matter how much bat power you have when you place washed up pitchers on the mound day in and day out. Let’s see.... Mike Mussina......Joke Roger Clemens.....yeah, it's Roger Clemens, but was he really worth all that money? Mariano Rivera.....paying way too much money for that many blown saves Stop paying these senior citizens ridiculous amounts of money with minimal results to back it up. You have all the money in the world according to your pompous self, George. Go out and get a few solid starters and a dynamic pitcher that no one can hit. And please, please get rid of that play-off choke job Alex Rodriguez. One RBI in the playoffs since 2004? Are you kidding me? How much money is he making again? GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!
