Dontaie Allen files trademarks for shoe, clothing line, camps

Josh Gerben is reporting that Allen filed two trademarks on July 1: “A11EN,” featuring his jersey number, and “Dontaie Allen.” The trademarks were filed with the intent to launch a basketball shoe, clothing line, and series of camps.

So far, Allen already has a deal with The Players Trunk for t-shirts, hoodies, personalized video messages, and 10-15 minute Zoom calls with fans.
The Pendleton County native is also on Cameo, along with most of the rest of the basketball team. When it comes to other NIL deals, Kellan Grady became the first NCAA player to sign with a footwear brand when he partnered with ISlides for a custom collection, and walk-on Brennan Canada signed with Barstool Sports.
