Mark Stoops is speaking to the media at the Governor's Cup Luncheon in Frankfort today and he just dropped a little injury update on his former starting quarterback, Drew Barker. According to Stoops, Barker has been cleared to begin normal summer activities with his team, which began in the weight room on Monday. However, the staff cannot watch Barker or the other quarterbacks throw the ball until next month. In other injury news, Stoops said freshman running back Bryant Koback is still rehabbing the leg injury he suffered in his senior season of high school last fall, but they expect him to be ready to go in a few weeks. Freddie Maggard will be by with more from Stoops' comments a little later today.
