As the fourth-seeded UK women's basketball team gets set to chase their Final Four dreams tonight in Kansas City against third-seeded Oklahoma, one of their star players received some good news.
SEC Player of the Year Victoria Dunlap was named to the AP All-America Third Team this afternoon, joining one of tonight's foes, OU's Danielle Robinson. Dunlap is the first UK women's player to earn All-American honors from the AP since....ummm.....I don't know. Let's just give her a nice round of applause.
The ladies tip off at 9:07 tonight against the Sooners and can be seen on ESPN.
